Every type of floor has its advantages and disadvantages. However, an industrial flooring flooring requires certain characteristics to meet the demands of your business.

Among the flooringoptions for industrial environments such asstorage rooms, manufacturing workshops, laboratories and food processing, epoxy or polyurethane resins are particularly appreciated for their impact resistance and waterproofing properties.

However, this solution is cumbersome to apply, and will require you to shut down your business, since all your equipment has to be moved to cover the floor with resin, after which it will take several days to lay and dry.

It is also highly recommended to choose the right contractor to ensure a quality resin floor. Resin installation requires a sound methodology and know-how. It's not uncommon to have to degrease the floor with a specific acid treatment, apply a primer or mechanical sanding before pouring the floor. If the job isn't done properly, you'll see the resins come off in patches after a few months or even a few weeks.
